The Barbados Bridgetown Airport experience
|
 |
|
Bridgetown Airport Barbados
A very pleasant experience is the small Caribbean Airport
at Bridgetown on lovely Barbados.
In fact it is a small, but very tidy and well organized Airport
with a perfect size and some wonderfully friendly staff, where
even the highly professional security checks come across decent
and much less annoying than the sometimes unnecessarily aggressive
behaviors at many American Airports.
On Barbados competent officers even ask to start notebooks,
but surprisingly they do with charm and a friendly smile.

The colors, views and silhouettes at arrival and departure
are absolutely spectacular and only the waiting can be a bit
much, when sleepy officers at immigration take their time
to look into everything at turtle speed.
In particular after a long journey and when coming in from
the cold this procedure can be a bit too much, however other
some countries are even much worse than that.

The departure lounge is as perfectly sized as the overall
layout and architecture to match the needs of around 5 million
tourists per annum and all planes are parked within comfortable
walking distance to make Bridgetown Airport a very fine destination
for International travelers.
