It is truly a pleasure to land in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur International Airport which is one of the best and most modern in Southeast Asia.

A little less comfortable is the LCC ( low cost carrier ) terminal which is located a few kilometers away from the International Airport.

The fastest connection with a posh airport taxi costs around 45 Ringit ( ca. $15 ) and the ride takes around 10 - 15 minutes.

Of course there is also a cheap bus connection, but the ride may take around 45 minutes.

Inside the busy LCC terminal visitors do miss an air condition system as well as going on board may require a lengthy walk on the runway.

One of the most industrious airlines there is Air Asia which offers connections to Phuket and Bangkok at very competitive rates.
